She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Burrell Sr. and Henrietta Davis; her close friend George Merrill; her significant other Robert Lee Mundy; and her siblings, Mary Lee Davis, Sylvester Davis, Ruby Lee Savage, Robert Davis, Susie Elizabeth Eason and Eddie Lee Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda Dashiell (Eric) of Royal Oak, MD, Sgt. Robert Mundy (Shelia) of Richmond, Yvette Jenkins (Darnell) of Ridgely, MD, Donovan Mundy (Barbara) of Trappe, MD and Olivia Ringgold (Dean) of Townsend, DE.; her siblings, Lillian Coles of Roanoke, VA, Willie Mordena Davis of Suffolk, VA and Bennie Davis, Jr. of Baltimore, MD.; her nieces and nephews, Donielle Davis, Demar Mundy, Joshua Mundy, Donald Mundy and Marshall Taylor; and her close friends, Sharon Howell, Josephine Merrill, Dorris Howell and Sally Vermilye. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces.
