He was predeceased by: his father Karl Stahre; his sister Mildred Hearn; his brothers-in-law, Irvin "Jimmy" Hearn and George MacDuff; and his nieces, Janice Peed and Melinda MacDuff.
He is survived by: his brother Paul Stahre (Harriet); his children, Eric Stahre (Tammi), Eileen Dioguardo (Paul), Brian Stahre (Tracie), Denise Stahre and Jason Stahre (Sarah); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Lindsey), Katie (Trevor), Ariana, Maria, Ella, Jake, Alex, Grace, Andrea (Hunter), Jack, Henry and Lucy; his great grandchild Wyatt; and his sister-in-law Jane MacDuff. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
