She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Niblett and Lillie Mae Bell Niblett; her husband Otis W. Elzey, Sr.; her siblings, Frances Spear, Rosalie Wingate, Dorothy "Kitty" Travers, John H. Niblett, Jr. and Levin W. Niblett, Sr.; and her children-in-law, Wanda Elzey and Albin "Jay" Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Elzey Slacum of Cambridge, Otis W. Elzey, Jr. (Dawn) of Cambridge and David L. Elzey of Cambridge; and her grandchildren, Otis W. Elzey III, David Elzey, Jr., Gregory A. Elzey, Kimberly Turner, Shannon Slacum and Shane Slacum. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thomas Funeral Home (700 Locust St, Cambridge, MD 21613). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of choice.
