He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse B. Hurley and Mildred Manning Hurley; his wife Joan "Buttercup" Murphy; his son Jay L. Hurley; and his granddaughter Jessica Anne Hurley.
He is survived by: his sons, Jesse Jr., Jeffery O. Hurley, Sr. of Cambridge and Jed M. Hurley, Sr. (Brenda) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Jeffery O. Hurley, Jr. (Sarah) of Jed, Hurley, Jr. (Abbie) and Amanda Jo Hurley Hallowell (Logan); and his great grandchildren, Abriella Hallowell, Leilani Hallowell, Jed M. Hurley III and Maddie Hurley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the International Tow and Recovery Museum Building Fund in memory of Jesse B. Hurley, Jr., 3315 Board Street, Chattanooga, TN 37408 or to the Wounded Warriors.
