He is survived by: his wife Shirley Simmons; his children, Stacey Todd (Phil Todd), Steven Simmons (Edyta) and Bradley Simmons (Pam); his granddaughters, Ashley Blake (Jeremiah), Courtney Alexander (James), Alexis Todd, Lillie Simmons and Ella Jo Simmons; his great grandchildren, Gabby Blake, Sophie Blake, Summer Alexander, Bella Todd, Malayah Greene and Noah Todd; and his siblings, John Simmons, Russell Simmons, Sandy Simmons, Barbara Willey, Marie Ruark, Margaret Robinson, Carol Crue, Lisa Blann and Eddie Simmons.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery (6827 E New Market Ellwood Rd, Hurlock, MD 21643).
