He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman J. "Sonny" Era, Sr. and Barbara Hughes Era. He is survived by: his children, James F. Era, Jr. (Kathy), Martin Era (Candy Newnam), Melanie Era and Casey North (Amanda); his siblings, Butch Era (Patsy), Donna Era (Elmer Ruark), Mike Era (Donna Dickerson), Angel Biskach (Dan) and Shelly Era; and his aunt Betty Harrison. He is also survived by several grandchildren and three great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
