It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Cornish (Cambridge, Maryland), who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cornish and Leila Pinkett Cornish; his wife Joyce; his daughter Gale Benson; and his siblings, George, Marten Cornish and Frances Stewart.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynette Sampson of Hurlock, MD; his stepchildren, Frank Robinson (Teresa), Winnipeg, Craig Robinson of Seaford, DE, Gwenette Robinson Murrell (Byron), Orlando and Gerald Robinson (Donna) of Seaford, DE; his sister Sarah "Jean" Ford (Glenn); his siblings-in-law, Cambridge, MD (Bernice Douglas), Reneta Burton, James Burton (Torann) of Chester, PA, Lawrence Burton (Ida) and Ranch; and his close friends, Clarence Baltimore, Danny Chester and William T. Wallace. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
