He is survived by: his wife Gail Sampson Wilson; his children, Tynekia, Tamiko (Dominique), De'Ondre, Tyson Sr. (Sheree), Tykesha, Tywan and Shire; his stepchildren, Shemeka (Duane Sr.) and Tyron (Felecia); his siblings, Georgetta (Kevin Sr.), Dorothea, Demetrius Sr., Bernard and James; his aunts, Tamsy Miller, Mary Morris and Geraldine Brummell; his uncle Herbert Wilson; his siblings-in-law, Tanya (Mark), Lance Sr. (Melva), Dail Sr. (Roxanne), Robert (Meta), Arthur Jr. and Leo Sr. (Ruth); and his godson Tyuane Johnson Sr..
