She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Phillips and Tressie Phillips; her siblings, Alfred Phillips, Frances Jennings and Sarah Burton; and her husband Frederick Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Palmer (Terri) of Cambridge, MD., Faye Haddaway (Wes) of Nashville, TN., Debi Case (Tim) of Easton, MD and Donna Moore (Jim) of Fairplay, MD.; and her grandchildren, Brian Skipper, Trisha Savage, John Kerr, Jessica Collison (Dusty), David Case (Hannah), Valerie Reid (Jake), Rachel Dethmers (James), Allyson Jones (Larry) and Ryan Moore.
