She was predeceased by: her parents, William Parks and Lorraine Robbins Abbott; her spouse Omro Fitzhugh; her son Donald "Donnie" Fitzhugh; and her siblings, Betty Hastings, Lottie King, Ramona Lankford, Harold Abbott and William Abbott.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Jackson; her sisters, Joy Hohlbein and Loretta Dibble; her half-siblings, Carolyn Simmons, Barbara Willey, Marie Dryden, Diane Jones, Harvey Abbott, Parks Abbott, James Abbott, Wylie Abbott, Shirley Hicks and Darlene Spies; and also Louise Turner Prahl. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 11am at Dorchester Memorial Park with Rev. Gary Hickman officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, Md. 21802.
