He is survived by: his close friend Marie S. Locke; his sisters, Carole P. Gruber of Angier, NC and Ruth P. Wickham of West Caldwell, NJ; his children, Kristin P. Brown of Newcastle, ME, David T. Pross and Matthew C. Pross of Gambrills, MD; and his great grandchildren, Harrison P. Ryan and McKenna L. Ryan. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
