He was predeceased by: his wife Lois H. Cox; and his brothers, Earl Cox and Cecil Cox. He is survived by: his children, Timothy K. Cox (Kathy), Carolyn A. Schupbach (Robert), Denise M. Herndon (Michael) and Steven A. Cox; and his grandchildren, Rachel Schupbach, Jessica Schupbach, Montana Chance Leonard, Savana Herndon, Joshua Schupbach, Harley Herndon (Cash Herndon) and Betty Laster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
