She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brown and Edna Brown; and her brother Robert Brown. She is survived by: her husband Jim Hart; her stepson Ken Hart; her siblings, Marie Alther, Gladys Truslow, Charles Brown and Ruth Ginter; her children, Victor Bailey (Terri Newman) and Tracey White (Jim); and her stepdaughters, Janet McKeever (Jim) and Patricia Hatfield (Dennis). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Who would have ever believed that the little girl who grew up walking barefoot on Yellow Bottom Road would travel the world and experience and see what I have."In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church Building Fund, 12700 Hall Shop Road, Highland, MD 20777.
