He is survived by: his children, Barbara Jean Ehrick (Ed), Robin Lisa Alexander and Robert Alan Nickerson Jr. (Christine); his stepdaughter Sandi Lee Mariner; his grandchildren, Christopher Jones (Melissa), Jon Clinton Niblet, Nicholas Ehrick, Shawn Alexander, Kasie Alexander, Katie Alexander, Robert Alan Nickerson III and Brian Nickerson; his great grandchild Madelyn Alexander; his nieces, Bonnie Moore and Joanne Karlson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, David Meienschein, Steven Hastings, Michele Baxter, KeliJo Hilleary and Jenny McGrath Scalese.
