He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Walter and Zada Estez Walchli (Brands); and his siblings, Raymond W. Walchli, Randall B. Walchli and Elizabeth.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene Glatzel; and his brother Harold E. Walchli of Gibsonia, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
