She was predeceased by: her father Frank L. Metcalf of Cromwell, CT.. She is survived by: her mother Elizabeth Greenwood Metcalf of Cromwell, CT; her sisters, Martha "Marti" Bernardi (John) and Barbara Walsh (Tom); her children, Patrick Carr (Colleen), Michael Carr, Kevin Carr (Ashley) and Karen Carr (Katie); her grandchildren, Zachary, Lucas, Daniel, Evan, Natalie, Charlie and Ian; her husband David; and her caregivers, Gracie, Justin, Tatiana, Andrea and Ascension St. Agnes Hospital.
