She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill E. Dixon and Marylin Dixon (Graves). She is survived by: her siblings, Judith Thornburg, Bruce Dixon, Tracy Cahill (Thornburg), Brant Thornburg, Michelle Johnson (Dixon) and Kelly Hunter (Dixon).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Audubon Naturalist Society.
