She was predeceased by: her husband Col. J. Logan Schutz; her father Col. Frederick Matthews; and her son Frederick Schutz. She is survived by: her mother Marjorie Matthews; her sister Marjorie Hayes; her children, Marian Elsasser and Logan Schutz; her grandchildren, Amy Eways, Allison Gion, Theodore and Matthew Elsasser; and her great grandchildren, Colton, Landon, Victoria, Isla, Robert, Teo and Kai.
