He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Harvey Claytor and Ivor Beatrice Briggs Claytor; his wife Dorothy Morgan Claytor; and his siblings, Richard, Mark, Dennis, Juarez Claytor, Gwendolyn Claytor James and Theresa Claytor.

He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Bernard Claytor, Jr. (Ruthi) and Kathye Bernice Claytor; his grandchildren, Joshua Leedy, Danielle Claytor and Charleigh Claytor; his sister Sandra Claytor Tucker; his siblings-in-law, Ollie "Mike" Morgan Jr. (Allean) and Delores Claytor; and his cousin Donald Claytor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
