He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Harris Sr. and Alberta Harris; and his siblings, Andrew Harris, Jr. and Elizabeth Doretha Harvey. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Harris; his children, Anthony Harris and Anastasia Harris; and his siblings, Willie Mae Black and David Marcel Harris. He is also survived by grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He executed the conferral of an honorary doctorate to Bishop S.C. Madison, a testament to his recognition of outstanding contributions to the faith community.
