She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Sneed and Karla (Willie Sims); her sister-in-law Yvonne Sneed; her godson John David Savoy; and her grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor and Jasmine Sims. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Cynthia's courageous battle against the disease.
