It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Emily Armstrong (Bushwood, Maryland), who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Armstrong and Marie Armstrong; her husband Ernest Armstrong; her siblings, James (Boy), John Henry, Samuel, Frank (Shang), Andrew (Frog), George (Biggie), Robert and Annie Carter; and her children, Joseph (Joe Boy), John Kenneth (Kenny) and Annie Bernadette (Annie B.).
She is survived by: her children, James Edmund of Laurel, MD, Charles Henry of Bushwood, MD, George Bernard (Mary) of Lexington Park, MD, Frances Watson (Sam) of Dalzell, SC, Roberta Barnes (James) of Upper Marlboro, Rita Armstrong of Bowie, MD, Mary Greene (Reggie) of Waldorf, MD and Amanda Berry (Ira) of New Bern, NC; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Armstong of Hyattsville, MD; and her godchildren, Marion Tyer, Rhonda Hill and William Bowman (Muscles). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren, other relatives including sisters in laws, brothers in laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
