With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Patricia Welty Lacey of Bushwood, Maryland, who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Henry Welty and Lottie May Adams Welty; and her sisters, Evelyn May Owens (Jim), Thelma Loretta Mattingly (Bob), Loraine Ann Lacey (Tommy) and Helen Virginia Oliver (Jimmy).
She is survived by: her spouse Thomas M. Lacey Jr.; her daughter Karen Ann Lacey Fisher (David); her grandsons, Thomas Britton Fisher and Andrew David Fisher (Mackenzie); and her sister-in-law Alice Lacey Mirth (Don). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home (41590 Fenwick St, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
