He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Adolph Staiger of Stuttgart and Ann Weaver of Owensboro, Kentucky.; and his sister Margaret Ann Thompson of Owinsboro, KY.. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Patrick Staiger of Oahu, HI and Rachel Staiger of Lusby, MD; his grandchildren, Amber Wills of Lusby, MD and Sierra Sky Staiger of Oahu, HI; his siblings, Helen Lucas of LaPlata, MD, Maryann Scott of Mechanicsville, MD and Leonard Staiger; and his sister-in-law Susan Staiger of Clarkesville, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
