She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lee Day and Mary Evelyn Day (Buffington); her husband Edwin Markham Dwyer; her daughter Tonya Laine; and her brother Gerald Lee Day.

She is survived by: her foster son Edwin Dwyer; her daughters, Evelyn Holmes (Johnny), June Burns (Richie) and Elva Gilbert (Bill); her grandchildren, Harry Dwyer (Tammy), Rachel Holmes, Chase Holmes, Christine Carroll (Patrick), Tiffany Anders, Lila Harkins, Angela Foust (Evan), Aaron Gilbert and Casey Gilbert; and her great grandchildren, Chandler Carroll, Cameron Carroll, Maleah Albright, Ella Foust, Brynlee Foust, Summer Foust and Jewel Foust.

Burial will be at Knoxville Reformed Cemetery following services, Memorial donations may be made to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, PO Box 332, Monrovia, MD 21770.
