We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2020, at the age of 92, Anna Thornton of Brunswick, Maryland, born in Welch, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Sigler and Lottie Sigler (Lucas); her husband James R. Thornton; her son James Thornton (Pete); and her siblings, Leo, Isaac, Earl, Ernest, Edgar, Howard, Willard, James, Ronnie, Hazel, Thelma, Mable and Beatrice (James Webber).

She is survived by: her children, Agnes Sorrell (John), Charles Thornton (Tammy) and Robert Thornton (Patty); her grandchildren, Anna Marie and James Thornton; and her brother Randolph Sigler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
