She was predeceased by: her siblings, Clarence Conrad Jr. and Dawna C. Radtke; and her husband Harold Elmer Roush. She is survived by: her former spouse Navy Ensign Harold "Bud" Elmer; her daughters, Kimberly Dawn and Terri Lynn; her grandchildren, Santa Clara, Lieutenant Commander Brian Waller, Richard Waller (Sabina Waller) and Kristin Waller (Thomas Staskowski); her sister-in-law Carolyn V. Conrad; her nieces, Loretta Rooney (Tim Rooney) and Cindy Brigham (Ronn Brigham); her great-niece Jaymie Brigham (Jared Linscombe); and her niece Judy Nail (Bill Nail).
Janet's three grandchildren made incredible treks during COVID-19 to be with her.
