He is survived by: his wife Barbara Atkinson; his sons, Ernest J. Atkinson, Jr. (Shirl), Raymond P. Atkinson (Holly) and Carl L. Atkinson; his grandchildren, Ashley (David Hershman), Brittany, Ryan, Sophia and Austin; his great grandchildren, Jake, Kaylee, Raelynn and Kelsey; and his sibling Shirley LaCoste (Joseph). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
