It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothea M. Cohen (Brooklyn Park, Maryland), who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Cohen; and her siblings, Patricia Bresnahan and Charles Getz. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Cohen (Mary) and Sheila Kraisser (Corbert); her grandchildren, Charlie, Amelia, Josephine, Christopher and Chloe; her great grandchild Hazel; and her sister Phyllis Crutchfield. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gonce Funeral Service (4001 Ritchie Hwy, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA).
