He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Niessner and Grace Niessner. He is survived by: his children, Angela Niessner (Shawn Dewees) of Thurmont, MD and Robin Jeffs of Frederick, MD.; and his sisters, Ruth Dahl of Virginia and Barbara Hayes of Virginia. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
