He was predeceased by: his spouse Ronnie Lee Moorman; his parents, John Moorman and Margaret Moorman; his son Gerald Wayne Moorman, Sr. (Jerry); and his granddaughter Heather Yvonne.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Michael Moorman, Sr. (Mike) and Gary Dwayne Moorman (Lisa); his daughter-in-law Rose Moorman (Jaye); his grandchildren, Mikey Jr., James, Andrew, Jerry Jr. (Megan), Greg (Sydney), Chris, Jessica, Danielle, Matthew (Taylor) and Sean; and his great grandchildren, Cheyanna, Joshua, Kaylee, Emily, Jade, Sophia, Amanda, Jackson of Mikey, III., Bryson, Anthony, Oliver and Eleanor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Lincoln Funeral Home (3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery (3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722).
