He was predeceased by: his spouse Naomi Roy. He is survived by: his children, Gerald, Ricky and Aaron; his sisters, Delores Haskell and Barbara Jean Davis; and his sister-in-law Sylvia Walkup. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
