With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Richeson Hicks (Brentwood, Maryland), born in Amherst, Virginia, who passed away on May 1, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson Richeson and Carlena Burton Richeson; and her husband Millard Fillmore Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Derrick, Keith and Robin; her siblings, Andrew, Shirley and Roy; her children-in-law, Karen and Michael; and her grandchildren, Cameron, Kendyll and Matthew. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

At the request of her pastor, Margaret started a weekly prayer call during the pandemic.
