He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Sr. Spann and Martha Spann (Small); and his siblings, Willie Jr., Noland Spann and Edna Bellinger (Spann).
He is survived by: his siblings, Earline Pryor, Florine Stallings, Sarah Spann, George and Aaron Spann; his uncle Prince Small; and his friends, Gina Lawrence and Nate Saunders. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
