She was predeceased by: her former husband Bryant S. Ellis; her parents, James Brockington and Ida Brockington; her children, Georgette, Ricky J. Ellis, Zollye M. Greenfield, Derrick Harris Greenfield and Steven G. Greenfield; and her siblings, Jean Brockington Young, Lonnie, Frederick "Kip", Robert "Bobby" and Terrell.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Darring, Sherrie Greenfield and Gerard Greenfield; her sister Rosita Carman-Bryant; her sister-in-law Catherine Brockington; her daughter-in-law Joyce Black; and her grandchildren, Dionne and Jerry Jr.. She is also survived by 9 great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
