She was predeceased by: her husband Walter C. Washington, Sr; and her son Kelvin Chang. She is survived by: her children, Janet Austin, Victor Chang, Barry Chang, Walter C. Washington, Jr. and Lynnette Gaubert; and her sister Rachel Ramdeen. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
