He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Smith and Beatrice Smith; and also Ned Jr.. He is survived by: his son Reginald Smith (Danielle); his wife Mattie Smith; and his children, Lavern Stephens, Necol Hill and Reggie Smith. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law.
