He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Lorraine Bullock; his sons, Dean Gadsden and John Gadsden (Sandra DePaulis); his grandchildren, Myles Logan Gadsden, Dylan Alexander Gadsden and Gianna Joyce Gadsden; his nieces, Sandra Merrill-Casey and Deborah Herne Lyde; his nephew-in-law Charles E. Casey; and his brother-in-law Ralph Bullock. He is also survived by relatives, dear friends and fraternity brothers.
