He is survived by: his wife Peggy McDougald McKay; his sister Helen McKay Wright; his children, Dawn Michelle Alston (Milton) and Edward Randolph McKay, Jr. (Crystal); his grandsons, Milton "Ty" Alston, Jr. and Marshall Drew McKay; and his uncle Harry P. Marshall, Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
