She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah B. Moody and Georgianna Bryant Moody of Richmond, VA; and her brother John H. Bryant of Washington, DC.. She is survived by: her husband David J. Buckner, Jr. of Bowie, MD; her daughters, Sherry M. Moody of Woodbridge, VA and Shani H. Lawry (William) of Washington, DC; her stepchildren, Kenneth D. Buckner (Patricia) of Alpharetta, GA and Kimberly T. Doctor of Woodbridge, VA; her siblings, Bernard Moody of Richmond, VA, Ronald L. Moody (Rose) of Tappahannok, VA and Jacqueline Y. Harris of Highland Springs, VA; and her stepgrandchildren, Keyana Buckner of Seattle, WA, Carina Winston of Springfield, VA, Celeste Winston (Jalil Bishop) of Philadelphia, PA and Julien Buckner of Alpharetta, GA. She is also survived by 2 step-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
