She was predeceased by: her husband James Melvin Duckett Sr.; her children, Violet Denise Harper and Marvin Nathaniel Duckett; her siblings, Edmonia Ford, Blaine Hawkins, Edward Hawkins, Patrick Hawkins Jr., Ulysses Hawkins, Thomasine Young, Ophelia Taylor and Leroy Hawkins; and her son-in-law Carl Edward Windsor.
She is survived by: her parents, Patrick E. Hawkins Sr. and Margaret M. Hawkins; her children, Margaret M. Garrett (Keith), James Melvin Duckett Jr. (Joyce), Grant Duckett (Janice) and Terry D. Windsor; her son-in-law Lynn B. Harper; her brother Wesley Hawkins; her grandchildren, Deleatrice E. Fletcher, Kevin L. Garrett (Erin), Melva L. Harper, Amanda L. Cameron, Tabett L. Prescott (Jerome), Erica L. Cameron, Yvonne V. McCants "Vonnie" and Brian Michael Harper; and her son Edmond Hawkins. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
