It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vincent Edward McGowan of Brandywine, Maryland, born in Old Forge, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McGowan and Agnes McGowan; his wife Betty; and his siblings, Lenore Watson, Claire Earley, Grace Hughes, James McGowan, John McGowan and Robert McGowan.

He is survived by: his children, Robert McGowan (Mandy), Joyce Hammond (Donald), Donald McGowan (Norma), Vincent McGowan II (Hattie) and Timothy McGowan (Toni). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Peter's Church, 3320 St. Peter's Drive, Waldorf, MD 20601-2359.
