He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McGowan and Agnes McGowan; his wife Betty; and his siblings, Lenore Watson, Claire Earley, Grace Hughes, James McGowan, John McGowan and Robert McGowan.
He is survived by: his children, Robert McGowan (Mandy), Joyce Hammond (Donald), Donald McGowan (Norma), Vincent McGowan II (Hattie) and Timothy McGowan (Toni). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
