He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Elmer Johnson and Gladys Johnson Marshall. He is survived by: his daughter Orletta Harley (Darrell); his granddaughter Tahia Marable (Kraig); his great grandchildren, Kullen and Kyl Marable; and his siblings, Doris Watson, Esther Briscoe, Frederick "Freddie" Johnson (Alice), Lowell Johnson (Jackie), Gladys "LaVern" Taylor and Perette Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Viewing was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Piney Parish (4535 Piney Church Rd, Waldorf, MD 20602).
