He is survived by: his wife Doris Goldsmith; his children, Deborah Conner (Dave) of Woodbridge, VA, Brenda Clark (Edward) of Hughesville, MD, Paul Cooley, III (Kathleen) of Brandywine, MD and Dallas Cooley, Sr. (Debora) of Huntingtown, MD.; and his sisters, Alice Greniger and Ruth Inman (William).
