It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Carter of Brandywine, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on April 16, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sigmund Milloff and Lola Hatcher Milloff; her husband William Carter; her sons, Sam and Joseph Carter; and her siblings, Barbara Shane, Nancy Ryce and Tim Milloff.
She is survived by: her sons, William Carter (Theresa) of Brandywine and Rev. David Carter (Diane) of Centreville, VA; her sisters, Alicia Heffentreger (Daniel) of Brandywine and Patricia Renke of Brandywine; her grandchildren, Kristie, Lori, Jonathan and Jeffrey Carter; and her nieces and nephews, Beckie Shane, Lisa Hunter, Tricia Ryce, Carol Ryce, Andy Shane, Tommy Shane, John Hunter, Ben, Matt Renke, Timothy Milloff, Jr. and Jason Milloff.
