She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Watson and Thelma Townshend; her husband Joseph N. Richards; and her siblings, Phil Watson and Russell Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Clyde Richards (Debbie) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Kathy Kerr (Scott) of Mechanicsville, MD; her granddaughter Tammy Jean Eanes of Mechanicsville, MD; and her brother Laurie Watston of Hampton, VA..
In lieu of flowers the family would request donations be made in Jean's name to the Immanuel United Methodist Church, 17400 Aquasco Road, Brandywine, MD 20613.
