She is survived by: her mother Vernice Thomas Bowen Custard; her husband Ronald Sherman; her stepdaughters, Cristina Lane (Carl) and Beverly Sherman (Aaron); her grandchildren, Cynthia, CJ (Marissa) and Chase; her great grandchild Noelle; her sister Jennette "Connie" Gough; her niece Jynelle Brown (Willie); her nephew Nehemiah Gough of Australia; her brother Ellwood Bowen Jr. (Carmen); her nephew Ellwood Bowen III; and her niece Kayla (Andrew). She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
