He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Ida (Reardon) and Claude Leigh Brooke, Sr.; his son Brian C. Brooke; his brothers, William "Bill" Brooke, Sr. and Frank Brooke, Sr.; his daughter-in-law Emily Wilkerson-Brooke; and his brothers-in-law, JB Hayes, Paul Hayes, Thomas Hayes, Gilbert "Bug" Hayes, C. Dean Hayes and Albert Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Susan E. Brooke (Hayes); his children, Jeffery "Jeff" J. Brooke (Mindy Sowell) and Diana E. Wilkerson (James "Bobby" R.); his grandchildren, Victoria L. Brooke, Haley M. Brooke, Gregory J. Brooke and Libby B. Wilkerson; his aunt Marie Kissinger; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Hayes, Carl Hayes (Jenny), Oakie Brearley (Hayes), Ruby Hayes and Brenda Hayes.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Claude's name are asked to St. Mary's Ryken Softball Program, 22600 Camp Calvert Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. All donations will go towards the field and softball facility upgrades.
