He is survived by: his daughters, Angela and Cheryl Battle; his granddaughter Ajaya Green; and his siblings, Thurman Battle, Millard Battle, Joesph Battle, Lucy Cooper, Marjorie Jenkins, Deborah Battle and Linwood Battle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ward Memorial AME Church (241 42nd St NE, Washington, DC 20019). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery (3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722).
