He was predeceased by: his father Melvin O. Newman; his brother Dereke O. Newman; and his son Amir Jeter. He is survived by: his mother Betty L. Butler; his grandchildren, Damir Jeter, Gabrielle Jeter, Amiyah Jeter and Zamir Jeter; and his siblings, Jason C. Newman, Daniel T. Newman, Andre I. Butler (Trudy), Bridgette L. Branson and Kim Y. Newman (Jesse). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home (16000 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD 20715). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
